    I have always been passionate about design and this blog captures my inspirations, beliefs, thoughts, and excitement.
    In 2009, a fire destroyed my home. Thankfully, no one was injured and I was able to rescue all of our pets. Though the experience was heartbreaking, it also provided me with the opportunity to rebuild and create my own custom home. This was a wake-up call for me. After many years in the corporate world, I left to pursue my own path and fully focus on my true passion. Hence, Iris Interiors was born.
    I’ve incorporated my training, my skills and the lessons I’ve learned into my business and design philosophy. As a full-service interior design firm, Iris Interiors LLC embraces mixing the old with the new, marrying high and low elements, and allowing every space to tell its personal story. Elegance and function must coexist. An exquisite room will make your heart to skip a beat, but the ability to live fully in the space, surrounded by the pieces and people you love, is what beautiful, timeless design is all about.
