Description

Since the ripe age of six, fashion was Erica's thing. Whether she was pairing her high top converse with dresses or creating purses out of old tee shirts with safety scissors and glue sticks, she knew that at some point she would have a future in the world of fashion. Erica eventually went off to college at Cal State University Long Beach where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Fashion Merchandising. Following graduation, Erica truly began to figure out where she wanted to be in the fashion industry. After a fabulous internship working in women's product development for a popular action sportswear company, Erica decided that she wanted some more hands on experience in making clothes. Erica always wanted to learn the proper way to sew, and that is what she found when taking on a job as an assistant designer to a local boutique owner who creates couture clothing for her shop. After learning the tools of the trade, Erica realized she may actually be good at designing clothes and jewelry- and went on to sell her creations online. Regardless of where Erica goes in her life, she always plans to stay involved in the world of fashion through creating and selling her handmade pieces as well as by continuing to write for her fashion blog- FashionLushxx.
