Juice Cleanse Recipe Bingo

By Slimshoppin @slimshoppin

A new drink every time

Over the past few years, juicing has seen a rather unexpected resurgence. Popular in the 1970s, the recent fitness craze has triggered a newfound love for juicing, and now, there are thousands upon thousands of different recipes for every juice imaginable.

But while some juicers plan out their drinks based on the effects they want to achieve – be it a slimming down experience, detoxifying, or just replenishing lost nutrients – other juicers strive for a bit more variety in their drinks. And to these juicers, you can never have too many recipes tucked under your belt.

If you’ve always wanted to discover a new juicing recipe but have never known how to start, you can use a quick bingo game to help you out. Just like juicing, bingo has seen quite a resurgence in the past decade, with the BBC reporting that its online counterparts have grown exponentially – from 20 in 2004 to over 350 in 2012 – and counting.. In the U.K., the $557-million industry has attracted heavy-hitters. Leading sportsbooker Betfair has been unable to resist the urge to enter the fray, launching their own bingo portal in 2013, and British television network iTV also launched its own bingo website late last year. Millions of people have rediscovered bingo, and it’s become one of the most popular pastimes today.

Its versatility has also allowed it to be used in a variety of fields, encouraging yogis young and old to try new positions, and even presenting gymnasts with a wealth of different exercises. Much in the same way, bingo can be used to formulate new juicing recipes, and all you need to do is create your own bingo cards.

List 24 different fruits and vegetables on a bingo card with a 25×25 grid, and leave the center tile as a Free Space, labeling each cell on the card a number from 1-25. You can use a number of free online bingo card creators to make the task simpler, as well as generate several different cards. Once you’re ready with your cards, make strips of paper labeled 1-25 as well, and put them in a box. To create your own juicing recipe, begin drawing strips of paper from the box, noting the number you’ve drawn and the ingredient it corresponds to on your card. Once you’ve drawn five ingredients, use these in your next juicing cleanse!
