Mt. Kilimanjaro isn't just an iconic destination for adventure travelers, it has become the poster child for the impact of climate change as well. The once-fabled snow of Kilimanjaro are all-but gone, and as our planet continues to warm up, it now seems likely that they'll have disappeared altogether in just a few short years. Don't believe me? Then have a look at this video, which features famed ice climber Will Gadd. Back in 2014, Gadd trekked up Kilimanjaro and made a few first ascents along its glaciers. Since then, those glaciers have lost more than 70% of their ice, retreating dramatically in just six short years. Now, in 2020, he's gone back to make a last ascent of the ice found on the mountain, scaling it one final time before it's gone forever.
