Video: The Last Great African Safari

For decades the African safari practically defined the term "adventure travel." Visiting the wilds of Africa to witness the wildlife there has long been considered one of the best travel experiences imaginable. But in the latter half of the 20th century and into the 21st century, those places have become increasingly rarer, with vast stretches of land where creatures once roamed freely disappearing at an alarming rate. In this video, adventure travel expert Richard Bangs takes us to Zambia to explore one of the last great outposts for wildlife on the continent. In the Kafue National Park, visitors will experience Africa as it once was, catching a fleeting glimpse of a more wild and primal time. This is everything I love about the continent, and why I find myself drawn back to it again and again.
