This new (old) way of practicing a standing forward bend was inspired from a story on National Public Radio in Feb. 2018. In this pose, you bend your knees, rotate your pelvis forward, and keep your spine neutral as you bring it to parallel with the floor. This allows you to use your strong leg muscles more and spare your lower back.
