Video: Lessons From The Edge Part 1 – Running the Great Himalaya Trail

Posted on the 04 January 2019 by Kungfujedi @Kungfujedi

Last year, ultrarunners Ryan Sandes and Ryno Griesel embarked on an ambitious attempt to set a new speed record on the Great Himalaya Trail. The two men ran the length of Nepal, covering some 1504 km (934 miles) in the process. This video, the first in a new series called "Lessons From the Edge," takes us along with them on this journey. In the end, they were able to finish the trail in 25 days, 4 hours, 24 minutes. That isn't a spoiler however, as everything that happened along the way is where the real story is found. Watch the video to see how things unfolded.
