Video: Hiker Meets Mama Bear and Cubs on Trail

Shot in Katmai National Park in Alaska, this video shows a very close encounter that a hiker had with rather large mama bear and her two cubs. The park is known for having a large bear population, and these three were met while walking down a trail leading away from one of the campsites. This forced the hiker to walk backwards away from the creatures for longer than he would have liked. The footage is impressive to say the least and gives you a sense of just how large the Alaskan bears can grow.
