Video: A Solar-Powered Archaeological Expedition to Peru

If you've ever wondered how expedition teams manage to keep their gear powered while traveling in remote locations, this video is for you. It comes our way courtesy of Goal Zero, a company well known for making battery packs and solar chargers for use in rugged environments. In this case, we follow a team of archaeologists and filmmakers as they head to an isolated lake in the Peruvian Andes in search of a lost Inca temple. That story is being told in a full-length documentary for National Geographic, but here we learn how the cameras, computers, drones, and other gear is kept functioning while exploring off the grid.
