Earlier this week, trail runner and endurance athlete Yassine Diboun set a new speed record for running the 32-mile Loowit Trail, which circles the iconic mountain. As you'll see in the clip above, Diboun managed to complete that run in 5 hours, 59 minutes, and 16 seconds, which is good enough to beat the previous record -- set by Max Ferguson in 2012 -- by just 42 seconds. The video of the "FKT" attempt is both inspiring and beautiful.
