Over the years, Jim Slinger and Andrew “Tip” Taylor have conducted more than 30 river expeditions by canoe, taking them all over North America. Now, they are setting out for the Noatak River in the Alaskan Brooks Range, a place they first visited more than 35 years ago.
The video below introduces us to these two inspiring men and gives us a glimpse into the things they have seen and done over the past four decades. Despite being more than 70 years old, both say they aren't ready to slow down and they still have a lot they'd like to accomplish. So much so that it might take two or three lifetimes to do it all.
