Even small children are also getting obese these days thanks to their eating habits.

Lose weight for good health

Losing weight is good for health as then your heart will have to pump less blood and your liver too had to do lesser job thus increasing their efficiency and life both. Similarly other organs too will be working at their normal pace.

Lose weight by food

Eating the right foods items can be the surest way of weight loss as they will eliminate the elements causing you the weight gain and include those nutrients that are important for the weight loss. Did you ever saw any animal wearing huge fats over its body? It cannot happen to them as not only they are created top lead a natural life style but also they only eat the raw and natural foods and not the oily or fatty items.

Weight loss foods & drinks

Fruit juice

One should drink only fresh and real fruit juice instead of consuming packaged fruit juices as they have fiber and other nutrition which helps in digestion. The marketed juices are loaded with lots of sugars and additives which are the real enemy of the weight loss.

Replace margarine

Replace foods like margarine & butter, containing Trans-fats which lead to weight gain, slow metabolism and an increased risk of heart disease and cancer with liquid fats contained in the olive oil. These oils are lesser in cholesterol and loaded with other health benefits.

Switch out potato chips for pretzels

Potato chips are high in trans-fat, salt and calories. Any benefit from the potato part of the potato chip is long gone. Pretzels, because they are baked and not fried, are lower in fat, but may be just as high in salt. Check the label for trans-fat and avoid it. Unsalted nuts are a better option. They’re loaded with protein and healthy fat.

Use whole wheat bread

Whole wheat bread has lot of fiber which slows down the metabolism and thus helps in better digestion of food. It also has additional vitamins and minerals which have been removed from wheat for white bread. On the other hand, white bread has elements that make the blood sugar level rise high instantly.

Prefer roasted chicken

Roasted chicken is good but remove the skin of the chicken before you eat after baking it as is high in fats. The skin protects the chicken and keeps it moist while it’s cooking but is high in fat. Gently lift the skin and put the seasonings directly on the meat, then replace the skin for protection. The fried chicken option should be avoided as it contains large amount of fats and calories.

Fried fish should be discarded

Baked or grilled fish is better than the fried one. Select fish which contain Omega 3 fatty acids like salmon, tuna, and mackerel and you’ve made the best choice.

Consume only good quality oils and fats

Stick to the oils with healthy fats like olive oil, organic and/or raw butter, ghee, avocado oil, coconut oil, hemp oil, grass-fed animal fat, and lard can help you achieve and maintain the healthy weight you have always desired. Vegetable oils like canola, corn, and soy are among the worst types of oils you can consume, as they contain high levels of omega-6 fatty acids that trigger inflammation and spur weight gain.

Stop eating processed foods

Processed food category items like fried chicken, cookies, crackers, chips, cereals, and bread products, all of which tend to negatively alter the body’s hormone response to food, and switch it into a mode where it stores food as fat rather than burns it as energy.

Eat organic fruits and vegetables with every meal

4) Avoid all forms of refined sugar. Because of its high glycemic index and quick metabolism, refined sugar is another major no-no when it comes to weight loss. This even includes things like sweetened yogurt, bottled juices, smoothies, and other foods commonly misconstrued as being healthy. If you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off, it is absolutely vital that you cut out as much refined sugar as possible, in all of its forms — barley malt syrup, brown rice syrup, high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), molasses, and even some forms of natural cane juice are all included in the category of refined sugars.

5) Substitute one meal a day with a superfood smoothie. The idea that consuming fewer calories will automatically cause a person to lose weight is not only greatly oversimplified, but also false, as calorie type, body composition, and time of calorie consumption all play a combined role in determining a person’s weight. At the same time, many people are still consuming way too much food, particularly in the form of simple carbohydrates and sugars, which are quickly digested and turned into fat.

If overeating typifies your lifestyle, why not try substituting one meal a day with a protein-rich superfood smoothie instead? Since eating breakfast regularly has been shown to help promote healthy weight levels, whipping up a shake every morning with some fresh fruit, almond butter, and eggs, for instance, will give your body a solid macronutrient boost, which in turn will help you stay “fuller” longer, and cut those constant cravings for cheap calories.

6) Cut out the wheat and excess carbohydrates. Another common cause of obesity for many people is wheat consumption, as most modern wheat varieties possess high-glycemic carbohydrates that tend to encourage the development of visceral fat, or fat that accumulates around body cavity organs such as the stomach, intestines, and liver. It is this visceral fat that confuses the body’s normal hormone production cycle, and leads to the production of even more fat. Cutting out wheat and other gluten-containing products, as well as excess carbohydrates, from your diet can make all the difference in helping you achieve your weight loss goals.
