I don't often get the chance to photograph mountain biking only events, so am looking forward to covering 'The Crossing' over the next few days. It's a 3 day coast to coast mountain bike ride staged by Rat Race and the route passes through 3 National Parks, The Lakes District, The Yorkshire Dales, and The North Yorkshire Moors.
With a good forecast and spectacular scenery guaranteed it's going to be an enjoyable 3 days for me ... and a really tough challenge for the competitors.
