Reminiscence of childhood: sweet and chilled pickled nutmegs in a jar, is what came into mind when I saw the name of this eatery. So, what brought me here?
It was one of hungrygowhere's email subscription, intrigued me to find out more. My Google results were so salivating that I must at least eat their food before I die. Worth the hassle of traveling there, finding a parking spot in BVII and waiting a table for two. :D
Did you know? Nutmeg is the seed of a tree. In Penang cuisine, nutmegs are shredded and coated with sugar for ais kacang topping.
