Masquelier’s Soléderm Lotion Review

By Lyndsay S @lyndsinreallife

As I get older, the word “anti-aging” stands out more and more. So when I was given the opportunity to review MASQUELIER’S® Soléderm® After Sun Solution and French Pine Bark, I jumped at the chance! This after sun solution helps combat the visible signs of sun damage and premature skin aging after daily, sensible sun exposure. Available as a facial crème and a body lotion, both products were developed by Professor Jack Masquelier to be used on a daily basis, to help repair the effects of daily sun damage on skin.

I live in Southern California, so I definitely need after sun lotion. However, I have very sensitive skin, so I am picky! I used the Soléderm® lotion on my face and body for two weeks, and had no issues! I tend to break out in hives or acne if I don’t use lotion that works with my skin, but I was very pleased with this product.

My only con to the lotion is that I have very oily skin, and the face crème made it a little more oily. In my opinion, I think this face crème would be best for people with dry skin.

The French Pine Bark Extract is a tablet that you take daily. It helps with three things:

  • vein health support
  • collagen support
  • antioxidant protection (which helps with healthy functioning for eyes, heart, and skin)

I didn’t notice a huge change with the lotion, however my skin did seem to be less blotchy. Definitely a plus after being in the sun so much!
