Honey Raspberry Smoothie
For raspberries lovers this is a lovely and refreshing honey raspberry smoothie, a mixture of both great ingredients best to have before / after a good workout or on a hot summer day. It is also a great substitute for any other drink which you might otherwise have as your healthy lunch drink. This honey raspberry smoothie is also great to have in your breakfast, another way to boost your metabolism and health. Although it might not be everyone`s taste and the flavor might be a bit bitter but there is always a first time.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 cup cold skim milk
- 1 cup plain low fat yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 banana
- 1/4 teaspoons vanilla
- 6- 8 crushed ice cubes
- Place berries and 1/2 cups milk in blender.
- Blend on high for one minute until smooth.
- Add remaining milk, yogurt, honey, banana and vanilla.
- Beat for another minute.
- Add crushed ice cubes.
- Blend slowly until smooth.
