Ok, onto revealing the August Fabletics Collection (some past collections here, here & here). This month’s collection was called, “Take it to the Street” and featured activewear with an urban-inspired collaboration with New York graffiti legend, Stash.
This month’s collection was particularly awesome, and I had a really tough time deciding, as always. Finally, I decided on some pieces that could double as gym wear and work wear! Allow me to introduce you to the Banksy Tee and the Harley Legging!

The Banksy Tee
This tee is going to be one of my new go-tos. It has a slouchy fit but doesn’t make me look boxy and a shirt tail hem so I can tuck it in, leave it out or just tuck in a little corner for a relaxed vibe. I also love v-neck lines. I’m pretty sure they look flattering on every body type. I could wear this to a low-key workout, or rock it on the streets of Brooklyn.
The Harley LeggingI’m officially obsessed with these leggings. They are nice and thick, so there’s no chance you’ll be able to see through them. I love that I can workout in these, but the back pockets (which are functional!) and belt loops (also functional) mean I could dress these up for work, as well. I actually did just that and got A TON of compliments on them! They’re leggings, which means their instantly comfortable, but the pockets and knee panel details make them pretty chic.
Overall, I’m very happy with my picks this month, but here are some other pieces from the collection I was debating between. This month’s honorable mentions go to:
- Wade Top – Another piece I think you could workout in or dress up.
- Lunada Bra – How cool is the back of this?
- Doon Sports Bra – The graffiti pattern is so fun.
- Andora Dress – Looks so comfy!
- Befort Tee – I just dig the graffiti!
- Salar Capri – I really love this graffiti print.
Like I said, this month’s collection was particularly awesome. I wish I could have had all the things, though my closet is starting to overflow with workout gear. #firstworldproblems.
