Featured Video: Evolving Your Supported Child's Pose

I was glancing through Barrie Risman's Evolving Your Yoga Bonus Content page on her website, and stumbled upon this one about Salamba Balasana (Supported Child's pose). I like the way she walks us through most of the various issues that can come up with the pose, two big ones being discomfort in the knees due to too much flexion, and discomfort in the front of the ankle from too much extension. She demonstrates a few different prop options for each issue, and also shows a chair version (with two chairs) that takes the knees and ankles out of it altogether. Her camera had some trouble keeping her in focus the whole time, but you can still get the gist of what she's talking about through the blurry parts. If you've struggled with finding a comfortable position for Supported Child's pose, this is the video to watch for troubleshooting!
