We’re already 4 days into March? When did that happen? On a more important note, when is the snow stopping? Bah!

Anywhooo, February was a great month – and if you participated in the Love Your Butt Challenge, it was filled with squats! Body squats, jump squats, weighted squats, single leg squats. You name it, we did it! 

I plan on continuing to love my butt through March, so I thought I’d share some of my favorite ways to mix up the typical squat – something that only my fellow Love Your Butt-ers have been privy to thus far: 5 Ways to Drop It Like A Squat.

Some tips as you get your squat on:

  1. Keep you chest up.
  2. Don’t let your knees turn in toward each other.
  3. You don’t have to stop at 90 degrees if your ankle mobility allows you to go deeper into the squat.
  4. Keep your quads, booty, and core engaged. 
  5. Have fun!
