YSL Volupte Sheer Candy~Luscious Cherry

I have read so many mixed reviews on this product, but I wanted to try it so much that I went with it. I got the shade in Luscious Cherry and I love it. The shade reminds me of fruit punch. It is classified as a balm, but has the shine of a gloss and gorgeous color.  It isn't too red and is sheer so it is not too bold. It is a great every day lip color for people that like a little more "pop." It goes on like butter and it is moisturizing. But it does dry out after a couple of hours but the color is still present.  I also LOVE the case. I hate gold, and all other YSL lipsticks have a gold case, so this really caught my eye. It is very simple, with a lovely design in the center with the shade and YSL logo wrapped around it. The price is a little steep at $30, but you get what you pay for. I have no luck with cheap products and this is so much prettier than cheap balms/glosses.
It does have a scent; something like mangoes, I guess. It doesn't smell synthetic or too sweet. I enjoy the scent.
