Wine Wednesday Yarden Pinot Noir

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

Trying wines from around the world almost makes me feel like I am traveling. Of course there are wines from the U.S., South America, France, Germany, Italy, and Australia. But when you get to try a wine from Israel, it seems so fancy and exotic.

We had the 2008 Yarden Pinot Noir in our Swirl Wine Club, it retails for around $28 and it is a very true to style pinot noir. A bit lighter with notes of spice, raspberry and cranberry. Unique because of where it is made but a very good pinot noir.

We had this with venison steaks and mushrooms, it paired beautifully and is definitely a wine I would purchase again.
