Wine Wednesday: Wines for Entertaining

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

When you are having a big group of people over I try to have a variety of wines on hand to make everyone happy. A selection of reds and whites.

I tend to have a bottle for every 3-4 people with at least 2-3 whites in the fridge ready to go. I always have a few extras on hand in case people want me. A good rule of thumb is to assume people will have at least 2-3 glasses.

My Standards:

Pinot Noir

Cabernet Sauvignon

Zin

Chardonnay

Gewürztraminer

Riseling

Sauvignon Blanc

I tend to pick bottles in the $8-$10 range to keep it affordable but the quality high enough. A few that we have been drinking lately:

Bastille Cabernet Sauvignon

The Immortal Zin

Nimbus Pinot Noir

Entertaining Wines (1 of 1)

Eppa Red Sangria

Yellow Tail Big Bold Red

Enza Prosecco

Eppa (1 of 1)

Disclosure: The Eppa, Yellow Tail and Eppa were sent to me but all of our guests enjoyed these with a special not to Eppa for how good of a bottle sangria it was!
