Wine Wednesday Vecchia Modena Lambrusco

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

One of the things I like most about wine is sharing it with friends. A few of my friends are now pretty serious wine drinkers since they spend so much time with me! I will keep preaching my rule of drink what you like. Maybe not Franzia Winking smile

We opened up a really interesting wine over the weekend and it was seriously delicious. Light, sparkling, a tiny bit sweet but still complex red. Lambrusco. They are coming back and are so much better than what our parents might think of. I mentioned Lambrusco to my Mom and she shuddered and said she didn’t even want to think about it. But I told her all about this wine. I promised that it wasn’t what it was like in the 80’s (I am so glad a lot of things are like that, I was seriously not stylish then)

This was $15 for the bottle and really good! An excuse to break out the pretty Reidel Champagne glasses and Jess and I had a pretty good night drinking this…

I ended up needing Scott to get this open, I could not figure out how to get the outside piece of wire off. He used a screwdriver and pried it off. Not sure if what was the right way but it worked.
