Another Trader Joe’s find for under $8 dollars. This was a new wine for me and a rather interesting blend of Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Garganega. Slightly sweet, hints of peach and floral notes.
An Italian White. It is not really a surprise that I liked this. Italian’s really know how to make a great white! Not oaky but light and refreshing. It was great sitting out on the patio but I could see it pairing well with scallops or shrimp.
I think this may be my last white for awhile, unless the end of September is unseasonably warm.
