I don’t think of wine or port as something you can make a cocktail with but there really are so many options! Friday night after a very long week I new I wanted to sit outside, have a cocktail and just relax. No stress, no to do list, just hanging out with friends.
I received a bottle of Founders Reserve to try a cocktail with and I was browsing the Sandeman website and came across a summery concoction. A little port, a little vodka and lemonade. I was intrigued!
Port and Lemonade
In a cocktail glass filled with ice mix 1 part Sandeman Founders Reserve, 1 part vodka and 3 parts lemonade.
It reminded me a bit of Sangria but with a hint of spice. Scott and I each enjoyed two throughout the evening and it was a perfect Friday night drink.
