Scott and I were at a wine tasting at Haskell’s a few weeks ago, and had a chance to try this Italian red. On the last Thursday of the month they do a $5 tasting with at least a few tables and a chance to try some really great wines. YOu get a glass to keep (not that we need another wine glass) and a $5 coupon to use that night.
I zoned in on the Italian table and tried this red beauty from Montelpulciano. It’s under $15 and so darn good. Rich tannins, ripe berries and just a slight bite on the tongue. If you are looking for a good everyday drinking wine that has great flavor I highly recommend this.
