Do you have the wine in your cabinet or fridge that you have had forever and just never seem to drink? That is this 2009 Re Piero Marche Rosso for me. A 2009, it had a bit of age and was the perfect blend of petit verdot and cabernet sauvignon. A little earthy, jammy and perfect for that first really cool fall night.
Scott and I curled up on the couch with all the animals, watch a movie on Netflix and enjoyed this bottle I found it online for as much as $20 a bottle or even on sale for under $10. I would say this really is a $20 plus bottle and really good. I am glad we finally pulled it off the shelf!
