Wine Wednesday Ogio Pinot Grigio

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

After a basically non existent spring we decide to open a bottle of white and pretend it was nice outside. We just closed the blinds, chilled a Ogio Pinot Grigio and pictured ourselves sipping it on a patio instead of inside under blankets. It sort of worked.

Ogio Pinot Grigio (1 of 3)

I am a fan of Italian whites, they are crisp, light and have just the right acidity. Especially because most makers use stainless steel to age, none of those oaky or creamy notes.

A light golden yellow with definite flavors of citrus and melon. This paired perfect with a homemade mushroom pizza. And what is better than pizza and wine, especially at $11 a bottle. I could see this being so good with a Thai curry… which just makes me want nice weather even more. Come on Spring!

Disclosure: I was sent this bottle of Ogio Pinot Grigio but all opinions are my own.
