I’m a big fan of having a small glass of wine a few times a week. Not a huge pour but just a small glass as I am winding down from my day. Sometimes I open up a bottle and realize it’s been a week and it’s no longer fresh or tasting very good. Sad trombone! I hate wasting wine (this doesn’t happen often) but when I just want a glass it’s great to have a boxed wine in the house.
I know, I know. Boxed wine. But there are some really good versions! It’s perfect for when you just want a glass of wine. Lasting up to 4 weeks after you open it and with 3 liters inside that box it’s perfect for those one glass times. Naked Wines sent a box of their Cabernet Sauvignon and I really enjoyed it. I had a few friends try it too and they were pleasantly surprised by how good it was!
I am going to give their whites a try too next time I am at the liquor store.
