Wine Wednesday Licor 43 Rosé

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

Fancy wine cocktails, it’s a trend. No seriously. You mix a little wine, a good spirit and a few other unique flavors and you can charge $12 for it…

But how about we just make it at home? Where you can sit outside, cocktail in hand, dog on your lap with the music playing (if that is your thing). Now I can’t make Mother Nature be nice since it’s only in the 50 here in MN in mid May. But you can pretend you’re sitting outside if you are being subjected to similar “unseasonably cool” temperatures. That’s the meteorologists way of saying really cold for May.

We are taking a little trip to Spain for this one. A good Rioja rosé, a few ounces of Licor 43, fresh lemon and orange juice, a bit of ice and you have one heck of wine cocktail. Just what is Licor 43? A Spanish delight that is made from citrus juices, vanilla and 43 other ingredients (hence the name) but it has a very light taste. You can sip if before or after diner or use it in this great cocktail.
