One more white wine before it really gets too cold. My friend Bridget and I were at a wine tasting at Haskell’s on Saturday. And found quite a few wines that were new to us and really liked. The Honig Sauvignon Blanc was at the top of the list.
A few things about this wine:
- The bottle is beautiful!
- Their logo is so well done.
- It retails for around $17 a bottle but was on sale for $12
The flavors are things like lemongrass, mango, kiwi and it has a crispness and perfect acidity. This isn’t like the Sauvignon Blanc’s from New Zealand (that I love too) but has such a unique flavor.
