Wine Wednesday Gustafson Riesling

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

There are wines to sit and savor and then there are the wines to sit out on the deck with a dear friend and enjoy a perfect sunny day. While Riesling is not my favorite wine ever it was 78 degrees outside, the sun was shining, we had our feet up and were truly enjoying a wonderful day.

Gustafson Riesling is a very traditional Riesling, although not too sweet but with a beautiful straw color. This is a California Riesling and has hints of pear, apricot and jasmine. I loved that this wasn’t too sweet!

Retailing for around $16 I found this to be very drinkable and reasonable enough for that savor the amazing day on the deck kind of wine.
