We’ve had a few days of Mother Nature teasing us with almost warm temperatures. A day or two of close to 50 and then back down into the 20’s and 30’s. And after the this very long winter those warmer days were so appreciated. Now if they would just stick around for a bit.
The first thing I did on those warmer days? Break out a bottle of white. Now I love red wine, a nice big heavy red. But I feel like I’ve been drinking those since November and I wanted something light, fruity and crisp.
My go to for that style of white wine? Vinho Verde. It takes me back to Spain and Portugal and this one just so happens to be under $7 from Trader Joe’s. You open the bottle and it just feels like Spring. It’s herbaceous, green and crisp. And so darn good with a kale salad!
