Wine Poached Pears

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

There are the days when your sweet tooth is rearing its ugly head. And you just can’t ignore it. Honestly, I am not a huge dessert person but sometimes it is needed. It’s all you want. So you give in and make something a bit more unique. And not chocolate. Don’t get me wrong, I do like chocolate but it’s not my go to dessert.

Enter wine poached pears, peel a few pears, add some wine, sugar and spices and let them heat away to deliciousness. And when you serve these warm with a bit of ice cream I call that one heck of a dessert.
