Win a Scholarship to Makeup School 2011

SO many people email me looking for information about makeup school scholarships. Unfortunately, there are not that many opportunities to receive one; however, The Powder Group and the Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry have teamed up to present the Kelly Gleason Scholarship for the Makeup Arts 2011 and will send one lucky applicant to makeup school for free!

What it is:

Kelly Gleason was an Emmy winning makeup artist who lost her battle with cancer in 2007. This scholarship was created to honor Kelly’s career and passion for makeup by giving others an opportunity to follow their dreams. It will award to one lucky person free entry into Cosmix School’s Production Makeup Artistry Program at their Fort Lauderdale campus. 

How to Enter:

To enter you need to send in:

-a letter of introduction

-all of yourcontact information including email, phone number, street address and social networking site details

-A statement (500 word max), of why you wish to receive the scholarship.

You can email your entry to register@thepowdergroup.com with the subject heading “Kelly Gleason Scholarship”

Remember!

-Entries must be received no later than October 1st, 2011

-You must be 18 years or older

-You must have a high school diploma or it’s equivalent

-Entrants will be judged solely on their written expression and no previous artistry experience will be required to receive the award.  

-You MUST follow the above guidelines or will not be considered for entry.
