Weekly Meal Planning

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

As much of a Type A that I am, it wasn’t until recently that I really started meal planning. Yes I would be basics like fruits, veggies and snacks for the week but would just kind of throw together dinner.

I sit down at the dining room table and look at cookbooks, magazines or things I have been inspired by on Pinterest or Blogs. I find 3-4  recipes that look interesting and usually have one or two more that I am working on for future blog posts.

After reviewing all the ingredient lists, checking my pantry and fridge for what I may still have and make my list. I organize it by the flow of the store (usually Super Target and Sam’s or Costco) and group similar items together. Scott always laughs at my organization. But at least it gets me out of the grocery store quickly! (For some reason there appears to be a mint shortage, I checked 2 different grocery stores and no luck.)

Meal Planning (3 of 3)

Something about having a full fridge makes me happy! Full of lean meats, fruit, veggies, yogurt and beer
