Visiting The History of Whoo’s Flagship Store in Seoul

By Beautifulbuns

Yoohoo~! Happy Humpday everyone! I know it’s kinda late, but I found out only recently that Humpday refers to Wednesday, which is the longest day of the week cos it’s right smack in the middle of the work week. Hah. Anyways, if you’re feeling relatively Humpity Dumpity, head on down to Tangs Beauty Hall to check out The History of Whoo’s new counter which has just opened – it looks absolutely gorgeous with a generous helping of gold :D

Continuing on from my Day 1 post where I blogged about learning more about The History of Whoo’s skincare ranges, the first half of Day 2 involved visiting their flagship store in the very trendy Samcheong-dong.

This is totally my idea of a flagship store – it’s dressed in the brand’s iconic gold :D Everything sparkles and looks so pretty zomg.

Aren’t the lip products absolutely gorgeous?! The ones on the lower tier are the lipsticks which come with an attached lip brush (and they’re retailing at SGD$58 at Tangs – the markup isn’t that high, to be honest). I’m totally eyeing shade 15 (which is the brightest and poppiest color they have. This range has more feminine colours instead of the super shock of pinks I prefer).

The wide assortment of cushions and pacts they have – I bought the Luxury Golden Cushion and have already reviewed it :D

This is a limited edition solid perfume which retails for a jaw-dropping KRW280,000 (SGD330) – insanely expensive I know, but I totally appreciate its gorgeousness and intricacy.

And of course, its star product – the Bichup Ja Saeng Essence which is a boosting/starter essence to help your skin rejuvenate itself and boost the efficacy of products you apply after.

A giant host of skincare products available to suit all your needs – whitening, hydration, anti-ageing, and rejuvenation. Almost all their products seen above are available in Tangs Beauty Hall, so head over now to check them out!

Made of rosewood, this has different sides so that you can help massage and drain the lymphatic systems of the face and achieve that slimmer, v-shaped and less puffy face!

Traditionally known as “guasha”, this method of massaging is somewhat akin to “scraping” the surface of the skin, but is in no way harmful or painful – in fact, Leanne who received this said it was so comfortable, she nearly fell asleep! Your face will turn slightly redder during the process, but it’s only because of the improved blood circulation – the redness will fade away after 15-30 minutes.

Voila –  a distinctively more v-shaped face!
