Twenty-Two Weeks

Twenty-Two Weeks
How far along? Twenty-two weeks and six days

Baby's size? Baby girl is the size of an ear of corn.

Baby's nickname? We have finalized her name but we're not ready to share yet, most likely until we meet her. I actually saw her name while completing my half marathon this weekend and I took that as a sign.

Maternity clothes? Yes and I still love them very much! Exercise? Well, I walked 13.1 miles so I'm pretty happy about that.

Sleep: Sleep has been awful this week. One night, one of our dogs woke me up at 2:50am and he continued to wake up for the remainder of the night so I wasn't able to fall back to sleep. I ended up having a mini meltdown that morning. I cried hysterically several times. I started panicking when thinking about how I can barely handle it with two dogs. How am I going to make it work with a baby too? My husband calmed me down, surprised me by coming home early from work that day and brought me frozen yogurt.

Best moment this week: Probably walking across the finish line at my half marathon.

Miss anything? Just a good night's sleep.

Movement: I've felt a lot more movement this week, even throughout the day. I know she's moving a lot more at night because I wake up feeling sore from her kicking. Food cravings: This week I wanted a cupcake because one of the girl's I completed the half marathon with said we could have eaten eleven cupcakes to make up for the calories we burned. Stephen grabbed me mini cupcakes on his way home from work one evening.
Anything making you queasy or sick: No, just extremely sore from all the changes, her kicking and my half marathon.

Gender: GIRL!

Symptoms: Acne, soreness and snoring. My husband is still really worried about that even though I've told him it's completely normal. Also, I'm just feeling more uncomfortable these days. Everything feels so tight in my stomach and chest.
Wedding rings on or off? Still on
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, with the exception of Friday morning {after not sleeping much the night before}.

Looking forward to: Getting the nursery ready and meeting our little one.
