Scott and I spent a week out in Colorado skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, eating and enjoying some local beer. It was such a fantastic week! We drove out (16 hours) and stopped just over the Colorado border on the way there. Spent a week at a beautiful cabin near Grand Lake and ended up driving straight through on the way home.
The idea for the trip started with Scott’s friends Jeff and Vickie that he has been snowmobiling with for years. They rent a cabin for January-March and Scott had a brand new sled that he needed to break in before his big Wyoming trip in a few weeks. And I was in desperate need of some time away! I did snowmobile a few times that week too and had a blast. Being very new to it I didn’t want to go out with them on their crazy mountain rides but we did do local trails one day and had so much fun.

Cooking! We made lasagna, chili, big breakfasts every day
