Trader Joe’s California Wines Under $10

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

Let’s take a little trip to Trader Joe’s for Wine Wednesday. I have found myself buying a lot of wine there lately. It’s easy to stop by and just pick a few bottles and they always have new kinds to try. I make it my goal to get a least one bottle that is new to me.

Tusk ‘N Red. From Mendocino County, a red blend that was under $8 and had notes of berries and just a hint of oak. This is great if you are just wanting a glass or two. I had it open for 3 days and it was perfect.

Black Mountain Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. A little trip out to Lodi and this cab is a nice big cab that has some of those old vines characteristics.

And one of my all time favorite wines from Trader Joe’s… Cocobon. It’s a another red blend and if you want a great wine to pair with chocolate this is it. Strong notes of chocolate and when you have it with a few bites of dark chocolate it is even more pronounced.

Having a few bottles under $10 around for everyday drinking is key, yes we spend more for special occasions but sometimes I just want a glass to sit and enjoy. These are the perfect wines for that!
