I know I've been really MIA recently. I've been really busy with a new client, for which the work involves very little writing work, and I'm amazing myself about how much I'm enjoying stepping away from doing writing work all of the time. Don't get me wrong, I still love writing, in fact, I can't even begin to tell you how much I've missed blogging over the past couple of weeks, but I'm really loving this new kind of work. I think it's just nice to have a variety of tasks taking up life :)
Anyway, with that, here is this week's Thought. It's again, a little bit different, because it's from someone who is a lot closer to me than the authors and celebrities that normally feature in my Thoughtful Thursday Feature. My Mum.
This isn't really a quote, but more a piece of advice that she's given me over the years whilst I've been growing up, and that was:
To make my own choices in life, to make my own mistakes, and to do what makes me happy.I really do think that that is the best advice any parent can give their child, agreed?
