I posted a photo of this cake previously, but didn’t go into much detail.
I made this for my dear cousin Rai, who wanted an ivory cake adorned with lace. I used tiny cutters for the flower shapes, stuck it on the fondant-prepared caked, piped the rest of the details and finally added the pearls. It took much longer than I was anticipating, and ended up working until 2am the morning before the wedding! I did two other wedding cakes since then, but never attempted something as detailed as this again.
