The Holiday Edition Part 2

I have been enjoying my long, peaceful showers. Not ffs
But I swear there are times when I "hear" my baby cry in the middle of my shower. I almost start rushing to get out, only to remember I'm on holiday. FFS.
I have been happily taking photos and uploading them to my instagram only to realise it's not working properly for some reason.
It's winter here in Taiwan so we brought thick jumpers only to not wear them at all as it's such a mild winter. It's 25 degrees here and almost hot!
Then on our 3rd day, we went up to the mountains and I stupidly thought it was going to be warm still. I attempted to be a hero and wore my awesome Back-in-the-day-before-I-became-Mum dress and my legs ended up so cold that I had to buy some tights on the spot. It cost me some unnecessary money when I had heaps of 'unnecessary' warm clothing back in the hotel FFS
Halfway through our holiday, I realised I was late for my period. I was very very stressed and worried that I was pregnant. Husband just thought it was funny to crack jokes about having to be cracked opened again FFS.
Then, halfway through, I had my period. It was both a Not-FFS and FFS moment.
Husband is a real charmer. He only knows how to speak a few words in Mandarin. Every time he says those few words, the ladies young and old get so impressed and think he's a Mandarin expert. They start babbling on and on to him in Mandarin and he just nods with his serious expression, say Thank You in Mandarin and walks off feeling fantastic about himself.
On the other hand, my language skills are a little rusty. I can barely read the Chinese signs anymore FFS
This has led to a few little squabbles as Husband expects me to know what's going on, where's where and what's what but I am just about as lost as he is. FFS
When we first set out on this adventure, we had high expectations. We declared to ourselves that we weren't going to sleep much at all. We would sleep very very late and wake very very early - that was the plan. But alas, we realise we are getting older now and that plan really had little chance of success to even begin with.
