The Gadget Show Live at Christmas

Christmas is my favorite time of the year, and the influx of festive exhibitions is so exciting! I was really pleased to find one to give inspiration for gift ideas for the males in my life. Discover more of The Gadget Show Live at Christmas, 2013, at Earls Court, London.

The exhibition had a strong focus on Windows, from laptops to phones, but the great thing about The Gadget Show Live is that there’s so much you can interact with and play with. Above is probably the least techy thing you will find at the show, but see below for a very small sample of other things to see.

Something for us geeky girls, right?! Some cute pig USB ports.

In addition to these, there were loads of other gaming consoles to try out, plus laptops, phones (Sony and Nokia), flying remote control objects, super comfy chairs, watches, headphones, cooking instruments, 3D printers and so much more. There were also seminars throughout which was a nice addition, and even a section for children which my young cousin liked. The show did really well to cater for a variety of ages and interests. I, for one, am not the slightest bit interested in games, but I found plenty of cool and unusual things to look at.

Overall I really enjoyed The Gadget Show Live. It could have done with being more Christmassy as the only trees and decorations seemed to be at the beginning and around the outside, which was disappointing (but then I am a complete Christmas junky…). I did manage to get a few good Christmas ideas though which was the aim of our visit, and a lot of the products were affordable. I’d definitely go again next year. £14 well spent!
