Steak n Shake Chili

While christmas is upon us why not try to impress your family members with this Steak n Shake Chili  from healthy lunch ideas. Not only is it easy and simple to make it is just the thing that will enthusiastically drive you to finish it.  The bottom line being that your ingredients needs to be fresh otherwise it will just be a bore. But whatever the case is I hope you will also share this lovely Steak n Shake Chili  recipe with your friends if you enjoy it. Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can onion soup
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup cola (Coke, Pepsi, or generic)
Directions:
  1. Brown ground beef and salt in oil.
  2. Put soup in blender, blend for 1 minute.
  3. Add all to crock pot.
  4. Drain beef and beans before adding to pot.
  5. Let simmer on low for 6 hours or on high for 2 hours.
