Spicy Shrimp and Broccoli

I live with someone who goes through hot sauce like its salt or pepper. Seriously! We go through about 5-6 bottles of year and always have many flavors on hand. But the favorite is definitely Sriracha. I think we go through at least 3 bottles of that alone.

When I found something spicy to try for a recipe Scott is always on board. Especially when it involves stir fry’s. He loves them, the mixture of rice, vegetables and shrimp makes us both pretty happy. Healthy, easy to make and I almost always have ingredients on hand to throw one together.

Spicy Shrimp and Broccoli

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 cup brown or wild rice
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp vegatable oil
  • 1 bunch broccoli, cut into florets
  • 3 tbsp Sriracha

Instructions

Cook rice according to package instructions.

Heat a large pan over medium heat with oil. Add broccoli and cook through about 3-5 minutes.

Add in shrimp and cook until opaque.

Pour in Sriracha and stir together.

Serve over cooked rice.
