We had a random 70+ degree in October and we figured that we needed to grill at least one more time before winter. Mission accomplished with a spice rubbed grilled chicken. Enough of a hint of spice to make Scott happy and enough to make me sweat a little. A perfect compromise.
I also loved that I threw all the ingredients in a bag and let it sit for 20 minutes while the grill warmed up. Easy clean up makes me happy.
Spicy Grilled Chicken
Prep Time: 5 minutes

- 1lb chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp cayenne
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp oregeno
- Salt/Pepper
Instructions
In a large resealable bag combine chicken, olive oil, red pepper flakes, cayenne, garlic powder, smoked paprika, oregeno and salt/pepper.
Ensure the chicken is fully coated in all the spice and let sit for 10-20 minutes.
Grill over medium for 5-6 minutes per side or until cooked all the way through.
