Sour Soup with Rice Noodles

There is some amazing news for both chinese food lovers and for noodles lovers, after me having tried out this SOUR SOUP WITH RICE NOODLES recipe I have gone to and ventured more into the noodles  world. Now not all noodles recipes make me feel this good but honestly I can suggest this to anyone and everyone whether you like to having it during your otherwise healthy lunch ideas or between your break or anytime of the day you prefer. This sour soup with rice noodles recipe is just the thing to make you happy and forget about the bad or negative things which is presently going around you. Give this sour soup with rice noodles recipe a shot and check it out for yourself that I am not bluffing at all. Ingredients:

  • 5 c Chicken stock, strained (fairly clear)
  • 1 Green onion
  • 1/2 c Rice stick noodles, soaked
  • 1/8 lb Boneless Pork butt
  • 1 tsp Thin soy Sauce
  • 4 Black mushrooms
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1/3 c Dried bamboo shoot tips, Soaked and shredded
  • 2 tsp White vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame oil
Directions:
  1. Wash and soak mushrooms in warm water for 30 minutes; shred.
  2. Wash and soak dried bamboo shoots in warm water for 1 hour; shred in 1″ pieces.
  3. Slice Pork butt into 1″ matchsticks.
  4. Wash and trim green onion, shred on the bias into 1″ pieces.
  5. Soak Rice stick noodle in warm water until soft.
  6. Cooking Soup:
  7. In Sauce pan, heat broth.
  8. When it reaches gentle boil, add Pork, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, soy Sauce and Sugar; simmer 10 minutes.
  9. Add soaked Rice stick noodles; simmer for another 10 minutes.
  10. A minute before removing from heat, add vinegar and sesame oil; stir.
  11. Remove to serving bowl; garnish with shredded green onions.
  12. Serves 4.
