Last weekend I was in Monaco and it was ah-maz-ing! We stayed at a hotel in Nice and traveled 15/20 mins on the train to Monaco everyday as Monaco hotels are so ludicrously expensive. This worked out quite nicely though as it meant that I got to spend time in two gorgeous, glamorous cities in the South of France in one holiday. I felt like such a wee Scottish scrubber in my high street sundresses surrounded by Made in Chelsea types with their £2.5k handbags and perfectly coiffed hair...and that was just the guys! Seriously though, we are talking STUPID amounts of money here. In Monaco all the high rise flats have car lifts....a lift for your car!!! Instead of taxi ranks it’s helipads and a glass of orange juice cost me 6 euros!Mr Juicy and I were treated to a gorgeous dinner at the famous Le Cafe de Paris. It was a great place for watching how the other half live and I wish I could have sneaked a few “street style” type photos for you all because the outfits were gorge, however I was trying to play it cool and not act like a dorky tourist! The only celebs I saw were Will Smith who was walking around the F1 paddocks (I say only...it’s freaking Will Smith!!!) and Bruno Senna who we saw in the airport on the way home. I have so much to show you that I’m going to split it over a few posts so I hope you don’t get too bored! Today I’ll share some scenic photos of Nice and Monaco. They are such beautiful places and even though I just have a rubbish little point and shoot camera I hope these photos will still give you a sense of what it’s like to be there.
