Shoney’s Beef Cabbage Soup

 

If you are feeling bloated or just don’t feel like having anything solid. Than I suggest giving this shoney’s beef cabbage soup a try. It tastes both great and has and excellent texture which makes it very appetizing. A great way to make someone think it is another one of those healthy lunch ideas. Plus it gives you all the healthy health benefits. Now I can go on and say stuff about all the pros and cons of this dish, but in reality there is no point. Where a thing like this recipe can actually speaks for itself. Who am I to describe its characteristics. Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 head medium cabbage shredded/chopped
  • 2 ribs of celery sliced
  • 1 small bell pepper (cut up into small pieces)
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 16 Ounce can kidney beans
  • 1 28 oz. can tomatoes (chop the tomatoes if whole)
  • 4 beef bullion cubes
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic power
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
  1. Brown ground beef and drain.
  2. Add to ground beef remaining ingredients adding 28 oz. of water using the 28 oz. tomato can.
  3. Bring to boil and simmer for at least one hour or until veggies are tender.
